Pastor Murphy was born and raised in Baton Rouge. He and his wife, Paula, began their ministry in 1984, as full time evangelists for 3 1/2 years, ministering in 26 states. In 1987, they started a new church plant in Youngstown, Ohio, and ministered there for 6 years. In 1993, they came back to Louisiana to a small congregation of 12 people in the city of Baker...Grace Church. After outgrowing the property and facilities, Grace Church was blessed to move to a beautiful facility in the city of Central in 2009.
Dave Bunch has a passion for people and a heart for the Kingdom. He has been actively involved in ministry since 1994. Dave received a call to the ministry at just 17 years of age while attending Grace and was mentored by Pastor Glenn Murphy. He has ministered as Youth Pastor, Bible Quiz coach, Care Group Facilitator, and Sunday School Teacher. He and his wife, Farrah, served as Associate Missionaries to Northern Ireland in 2008. They are currently living out their passion for God and others by serving on the ministry team and coordinating student ministry.
Jason Cooper is a Baton Rouge-area native. He and his wife Julia have been involved in praise and worship and teaching ministries since 1993. They are the proud parents of three amazing kids, affectionally referred to as Things 1, 2, & 3. Jason is a career educator with 20+ years' experience. He holds a local license with the UPCI and currently leads and teaches NEXT, a group of growth-minded adults who meet in the A-Center on Sunday mornings. He loves Jesus, guitars, cheeseburgers, books, and the color blue.
Earl Wheeler was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La. He and his wife, Lawanda, started their ministry at a small church in north Baton Rouge where they held the title of Assistant Pastor. Earl has been a licensed minister with the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ since July, 2009. Earl and Lawanda have experience with outreach, bus ministry, Sunday school ministry, home Bible study, and altar work. They have been members of Grace Church since January 2017.
Ben Teer obeyed the call to ministry in 1992 and has held a local license with the UPCI since September 2007. He has served in the positions of assistant pastor, youth pastor and teacher. He, his wife Ethel and their three children have labored to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to as many as will hear the call.
